One of the biggest trends in the past decade is the introduction of online studies. Online learning allows students to learn anytime they want and anywhere they want. Some of the most prestigious colleges and universities are embracing online education. People’s perspective of online degrees has changed over the years.
Originally, students were skeptical about earning their degree online. They weren’t sure if that degree was valid and would get them a job. Now even the most complex courses and highest forms of education can be completely earned online without stepping into the classroom. More institutions are recognizing the power and value of online education.

Whether it’s the rural areas of the United States or the impoverished places in the world, technology provides disadvantaged studies with the opportunity that didn’t exist. A 15-year-old student from Mongolia passed his MIT circuits and electronics course at home. He was accepted into MIT the following year. Now he’s working at edX to provide that level of opportunity to other struggling students.
That means a student from the opposite end of the U.S. can take the LSAT if they want to. All they need to do is register for the LSAT so they can get started on their studies.. They’ll also have access to tips, tools, and resources for succeeding on the exam.

There’s no doubt that technology has improved education. But it’s also improved the way that businesses operate. If you look around, you’ll notice that most schools are following the small business model. They’re investing in administrative and operational software, bandwidth capabilities, integrated communications systems, and secured wireless networks that provide more opportunities for students. Both students and teachers are realizing the value of technology.
