Android 4 ICS is available for Samsung Galaxy S2, which brings a number of good features. If you want to install the same, then follow this step by step process.

Prerequisites
- Start the process, when your battery is charged for at least 70 percent.
- Take the backup of data before you start with the upgrade process.
Procedure for Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich Galaxy S2
- Download the Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich Galaxy S2 ROM from here.
- Download the Odin from here.
- Press the Volume Down and Home buttons to enter your Galaxy S2 into Download Mode.
- Open Odin on your computer and connect the Samsung Galaxy S2 with it. One of the ID: COM boxes will turn yellow which indicates the successful connection.
- Now you need to select the files for flash. Just follow these steps.
Click PDA button and choose file with ‘CODE’ in its name.
Click Phone and click file ‘MODEM’.
Click on CSC and choose file with CSC in its name.
Click on PIT and tap on the .pit file.
- Make sure that Auto Reboot, F. Reset Time and Re-Partition boxes are checked.
- Click on ‘Start’ to initiate the installation process.
- Wait for a few minutes and your device will automatically reboot.
